Windsor’s 2010 Bridal Idol contest – Starting January 27th
Thanks to all the 2010 Contestants. Registration is now closed and we’re out there all the rest of this week during the semi-finals gearing up for the Big Day on March 11th at Place Concorde to find out who the Grand Prize winner is. Stay up to date on Facebook with The Wedding Guide – Windsor/Essex.
Sponsored by AM800 CKLW and Bluesfest International, Bridal Idol returns for a second year, after breaking all expectations in 2009.
This is a karaoke contest, and the last year’s winning bride, Cassia Pulleyblank took home over $22,000 in prizes, that were pledged by Wedding Guide professionals.
The way to win is to sing and if you don’t sing, don’t worry, either you or someone you appoint can sing for you. To make things more interesting, winning is about presentation, talent and, the applause meter.
Join Dawn Marie, of Dawn Marie Entertainment each and every Wednesday 9pm to midnight and at The Whiskey, 300 Ouellette and Friday at The Victoria Tavern – 400 Chilver Road from 7pm to midnight.
There will be 10 finalists, who will assemble at The Radisson Riverfront Lounge, Radisson Hotel on March 11, 2009. So what is Bridal Idol? It’s about having fun and a chance to win a Bridal Package worth over $20,000.
So make sure to bring out your entourage, family and friends to these nights of fun and to cheer you or your singer on. The contest is set to kick-off at January 27th and will run for 7 weeks.
To participate, register and follow the the Bridal Idol 2010 page on Facebook. Listen to AM800 CKLW for more information and Bridal Idol banter. There will be interviews and updates on a regular basis.
Good luck!
