Weddings Windsor-Bridal, The Wedding Guide Talks Bridal!

Just married- their way!

Brides are readjusting their expections, but not their total budget. This is the message that I keep reading on articles on the world-wide web. In spite of the economic downturn, couples are taking a hard look at the things that they want and the “frills” and deciding on the style of their special day.

If the reception is the important hot button for them, they will reduce the guest list, but not the menu. There is a refusal to compromise on what the feel is important. So bring on the bruschetta bar, the appetizers and a beautiful meal, and hold on other items, sometimes viewed as superfluous.

Some couple are so focused on a particular item, that they will forgo the favours, the fancy invitations and the bridal cake for an outdoor tented affair or a vineyard wedding. Conformity is out and individual style is definitely in.

What makes today’s weddings uniquely different is that they don’t follow the traditional template of their parents’ wedding day of year’s gone by.

Almost anything goes and each wedding is personalized with the bride and groom’s fingerprint.

You’ll find martini and sushi bars, ice cream and expresso carts, caricature artists and more at today’s celebrationsl.

Big weddings, intimate weddings, beach weddings and yacht weddings; whatever venue is chosen, speaks loudly to the couple and their lifestyle, and it’s adding flair and fun to a wedding invitation.

Bridal season is just around the corner, and with it, an adventure in the extraordinary, as couples continue the tradition and do it their unique way!

Windsor Ontario Talking Destination Wedding Site

Windsor/Essex County takes a lot of hits for its southernmost site on the busiest border crossing in North America. Once a vibrant retail downtown, it now hosts entertainment venues, restaurants of all choices, a seven mile walkable riverfront, and an award- winning Sculpture Garden. St. Clair College has a second campus in the heart of the city. A new $3 million dollar festival stage has been installed, making it the best site in the country to hold an event.

The region offers miles of sandy beaches and golf courses galore. Cruise the river on a boat or bicycle down the riverwalk. for a long leisurely afternoon. Picnic in the park and enjoy a stroll or a seat on a quiet bench.

This area has 16 wineries and has become a bourgeoning industry. Tour and taste your way through the county.

So why the preamble about Windsor/Essex County? As a destination site for weddings, it has a lot going for it. The climate is milder, making late April to mid- October excellent weather months for marrying. The choice of venues is staggering from wineries to conventional clubs, restaurants, Caesars Windsor and historic sites like MacKenzie Hall and Willistead Manor. Canadian Club Brand Centre  an excellent historic setting is suitable for small gatherings with a breath-taking riverfront view for photographs. From traditional to outrageous, we know all the spots that make for a fantastic wedding locations.

The cost to host a wedding  in this part of the province is far less than what you’d expect to pay in the major cities in Ontario.  The Wedding Guide boasts preferred wedding professionals; they will work with you to make your day memorable.

Caesars Casino boasts the newest hotel and casino facilities, but you’ll find fine brand name hotels in both the centre of the city, for urban lovers and, in the quiet of the suburbs for those who want easy access parking and freedom to move about the area. Both offer neighbourhood experiences our visitors enjoy.
