Love is the greatest refreshment in life. Pablo Picasso

Knowing you look great on your wedding day is a simple task with the help of a professional. A calming relaxing facial is the best possible way to forget any feelings of chaos and frustration that you may be feeling before the wedding.

You will not regret the time  you share with an esthetician  salon or spa,  a week before the wedding. Another bonus is the beautiful way make up goes on to a properly cleansed skin. Little things like this make all the difference to how you feel before your special day.

Nails properly manicured, add a lovely finished look. If growing strong, beautiful nails is not your forte, nail extensions or nail tips may be professionally applied to look and feel very natural. Once your wedding day is past, these tips will aid in the growing of your own nails. Nail polish is another important consideration. You won’t want a bold colour, choose something soft instead to complement your colour scheme and personality. Don’t forge the relaxing hand massage that is include.

Your beauty regime should start very early on, right when you get engaged; while everyone is looking at your stunning new engagement ring, you’ll want your hands to be well groomed.

Skin care is always an ongoing and scheduled task. If you suffer from acne or skin conditions, a good esthetician can work with you at the beginning of your planning d to have, beautiful glowing skin for your wedding day.

Colour That Inspires: From The Wedding Guide Windsor/Essex County

The best way to begin is to pick two dominant complimentary colours and one highlight colour.  Other colours can be added to  intensify and highlight your dominant colours.

If you have already worked with an image consultant in the past, you will already be aware of which colours compliment your complexion and give you that wonderful glow that makes you look your absolute best.

Starting with a blank canvas, the process  will evolves naturally. From the time you were a young girl, you may have  imagined a wedding with deep red roses and  crisp white linens. Or, did you envision yourself in a setting that was classy and elegant; perhaps a dramatic and always proper, black and white theme as your décor?

With  spring and summer weddings, a feeling of calm waters and beach vacations come to mind with soothing Turquoise, a hot colour this season with the connotation of a  faraway beach resort.  Add an ocean blue and the feel  becomes cool, refreshing and filled with energy.

Yellow makes a statement; its always associated with and bathed, in the warmth of summer. It is always a terrific choice, combined with shades of  neutral champagne or taupe.

The new red this season is Tomato Purée, and its zippy and fun, paired with a cream infusion of florals and table linen. Touched with silver or gold, it is a rich, inviting look that is warm and inviting.

When picking your colours, think about your home and what colours you wear most often. These are the colours that  are in your comfort zone; ones that you can live with in harmony and feel good about.

You may want to spend some time in the paint section of your local hardware store or building centre, where you can mix and match the chips to see what your true colour personality reveals.

Whether you are looking for a traditional look, an out-of-the-box, bold statement, or a modern feel, the palette you choose from will add glorious colour to the look and feel of your wedding day.

Whatever you decide on, your day should highlight all your  favourites, from your beautiful dress to your menu to your accessories, and every colour detail in between. When you pick your colour scheme, you will set both the tone and your own distinctive, signature style for your day.

Don’t jump into something that you think you may like; be honest in your colour approach and you will have a look that you will both love and forever remember.

From urban chic, to haute couture there is a combination for you that will inspire the look and feel of your day, and put your own unique, fingerprint on it; guided by what you love.

Weddings Windsor-Bridal, The Wedding Guide Talks Bridal!

Just married- their way!

Brides are readjusting their expections, but not their total budget. This is the message that I keep reading on articles on the world-wide web. In spite of the economic downturn, couples are taking a hard look at the things that they want and the “frills” and deciding on the style of their special day.

If the reception is the important hot button for them, they will reduce the guest list, but not the menu. There is a refusal to compromise on what the feel is important. So bring on the bruschetta bar, the appetizers and a beautiful meal, and hold on other items, sometimes viewed as superfluous.

Some couple are so focused on a particular item, that they will forgo the favours, the fancy invitations and the bridal cake for an outdoor tented affair or a vineyard wedding. Conformity is out and individual style is definitely in.

What makes today’s weddings uniquely different is that they don’t follow the traditional template of their parents’ wedding day of year’s gone by.

Almost anything goes and each wedding is personalized with the bride and groom’s fingerprint.

You’ll find martini and sushi bars, ice cream and expresso carts, caricature artists and more at today’s celebrationsl.

Big weddings, intimate weddings, beach weddings and yacht weddings; whatever venue is chosen, speaks loudly to the couple and their lifestyle, and it’s adding flair and fun to a wedding invitation.

Bridal season is just around the corner, and with it, an adventure in the extraordinary, as couples continue the tradition and do it their unique way!
