Wedding Workshop a Success! The Wedding Guide Sponsors 3rd Consecutive Year

As a sponsor of the 3rd annual Wedding Workshop at St.  Clair Centre on  Thursday, October 21, we tip our hats to the organizers, A Perfect Day Wedding  and Event Planners, Cristina and Richelle, who skillfully put on this  SWEET evening-as SWEET as these cupcakes!!! Thank you for your efforts in bringing  this forum to Windsor/Essex County brides and grooms.

This was a new location this year and a great move to accommodate more  brides-to-be. St. Clair Centre, with its gorgeous view was a great place to showcase wedding professionals and make the event feel very special; like a wedding!

My role besides being a  valued sponsor (thank you ladies!) was to talk to the assembled audience of brides, grooms, moms and maid of honours, about emerging wedding trends that I’m spotting for 2011.  The audience was fixed on the conversation and they made a point to come up to me after the speeches to discuss my findings.

It is always terrific to hear the feedback immediately and I want to thank everyone, who took the time to ask their important questions, discuss their upcoming weddings and compliment The Wedding Guide and the very important role that it plays in bridal planning in this region.

The Wedding Guide has proudly been serving area brides for over 19 years and, we provide all the answers to the questions that are asked every t ime a wedding is hosted.

Last year’s winner of Bridal Idol, Cassia Pulleyblank and Publisher Sheryl Davies,  The Wedding Guide Windsor/Essex County

The holiday season is the most popular time of the year for engagements. Here at The Wedding Guide, we are working hard to relay everything weddings to our local area brides.

Commencing January 27 and running until March 11, Bridal Idol makes its return after a successful launch last year. Hosted by Dawn Marie Entertainment, a name synonymous with Windsor karaoke, the qualifying rounds will be held at The Whiskey and The Victoria Tavern. Shy? Nominate a friend or family member to sing instead! There will be a huge prize package when we have it all assembled. It’s a lot of fun and you are urged to bring your family, friends and wedding party along to cheer you on.

Sponsored by AM800 CKLW and Bluesfest International, this event promises to be even bigger than last year.  Be sure to listen to the radio for all the information, updates, interviews and more.

The winning bride will automatically go to the Bluesfestl Idol quarter finals. Bluesfest Idol, will once again be a great success and the finals will be held at the Festival Plaza during Bluesfest in July.

The Wedding Guide is also pleased to once again be one of the presenting sponsors of The Wedding Workshop, scheduled for March 4 at the Fogolar Furlan Club. This event is a must attend as it provides tools that brides require when planning all the details of their wedding. A Perfect Day Wedding and Event Planning is the presenter and this is the 3rd annual. It’s a day of great information from area wedding vendors.

We also remind you that the Wedding Extravaganza Bridal Show takes place this weekend at the Caboto Club for two days. Saturday, January 16 – 10am-5pm and Sunday, January 17,  10am-5pm
