In many instances, wedding vendors present their various services and pricing in a packaged format; meaning items are bundled together at one total price for an array of service or items. This marketing may be just what you are after, but give it a good hard look and do some comparative pricing before you commit.
From reception halls to photographers, floral designers to stationers, there are a multitude of wedding packages available to brides that make one-stop shopping relatively easy for each particular commodity.
When you are trying to make your final decision, ensure you are properly comparing the items included in each package. For example, one photographer may appear less expensive than another that you are contemplating, with the price difference being the less expensive one doesn’t offer a photo album. However, that album may turn out to be more than the monetary difference between the two. You have to really know what you want and whether the rest of the bundled items make sense to your purchase or wedding day requirements. Do your homework and understand the value of all the services you want or need before purchasing the packages.
There’s nothing worse that sitting down to pay your bills and discovering that you are short of money. The same scenario exists for planning an important and notable event such as your wedding day. You don’t want to be short on your budgeted dollars. That’s why we stress establishing and sticking to that budget. Setting a realistic amount of money aside should be the first discussion on your planning agenda.
